The terroir of the St-Saphorin appellation comprises a succession of balconies wrapped around Mont-Pèlerin. The vines face south, southwest and, on the wings, southeast. The slopes are steep, reaching up to 50% in some places. Most of our old vines come from moraine soil, and their light, very calcareous soils bring out the saline notes typical of this very special terroir.
We are proud to work in this sumptuous but no less capricious vineyard handed down to us by our ancestors. For us, “family” and “tradition” are not empty words. Let us tell you our story.
